Centre for Good Governance and Economic Studies

The Centre studies how the Indian state raises and spends its resources, designs welfare and builds the conditions for growth. Its work pairs national data with close study of Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous state, where every policy choice is made at the scale of a nation. It asks not only what good policy looks like on paper, but why it so often falters at the last mile, and how it can be made to arrive.
