The Chief Executive's Message
India's next decade will belong to those who solve problems, not those who merely describe them. AFPR exists to be among the solvers.
Shashank Shekhar Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director
In his message, AFPR's Chief Executive sets out the convictions that guide the institute: that evidence must precede argument, that institutions are the instruments of durable change, and that India's questions deserve answers of global quality.

Three institutions that carry AFPR's ideas beyond the research paper: to the reading public, to the printed page and to the communities that policy is meant to serve.
Leadership and Counsel
Counsel of distinction
AFPR is guided by a Board of Directors and counselled by a Board of Advisors drawn from the highest levels of national service and scholarship. Its members include the Director General of the Centre for Land Warfare Studies, a Designated Senior Advocate of the High Court at Lucknow, an Advocate-on-Record of the Supreme Court of India, senior officers of the Indian Army, and professors and scholars across the disciplines. Their experience informs the questions we ask, and the standards to which we hold our answers.
