Centre for Justice and Legal Studies

AFPR intends to play a constructive role in providing access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. We aim to undertake campaigns to ensure public access to information and protect fundamental freedoms by national legislation and interests. The centre works to ensure the penetration of the ideas of good governance. To counter red tape-ism, illegal profiteering, and corruption and to ensure transparency and accountability amongst government agencies, there is a need to focus on critical analysis of existing government policies. Therefore, the centre is producing quantitative and qualitative research on the themes of law and governance. It is also focused on creating literary works on the parliamentary and constitutional setup of the nation.

In the Justice & Legal Studies field, the centre works to set new landmarks by achieving different milestones through intensive legal research. The work includes litigation, drafting bills for members of legislatures, filing petitions and organizing campaigns for legal accessibility. We are committed to producing legal research of the highest standard by ensuring informed public debates, references to legal provisions and inclination to justice.
