Centre for Environmental Studies

Environmental issues are crucial in contemporary times; therefore, the centre addresses environmental concerns from a legal and policy perspective. AFPR wishes to nudge individuals to practice simple yet effective environment-friendly actions, influence government and industrial policy to support sustainable consumption and production (policy) and suggest and provide industries and markets with necessary eco-friendly solutions and responses.

Traditional Indic view towards nature and environment is that humans and our societies are embedded in nature and human life is an extension of its environment. Hence, we have a robust ethical direction to keep this relational continuity in balance. Striving towards fulfilment of this aim, we wish to work on the factors causing climate change and create awareness of it amongst the masses. We are currently working on concrete plans to minimize pollution and use of non-degradable pollutants.
